Data & Content Removal

Our datasets are compiled from publicly accessible web pages, with personal identifiers removed or pseudonymized. If data about you, or content you own, nonetheless appears in a DataForge dataset, you can have it removed using the processes below. Both are free of charge.

1. Individuals — personal-data erasure or objection (GDPR / CCPA / similar)

Email data@zalize.com with the subject line"Data subject request" and include:

  • what data you believe we hold (e.g., a reviewer handle, a name in a job posting);
  • where you saw it or where it was originally published (URL if possible);
  • the right you are exercising (erasure, objection, access, correction);
  • enough information for us to locate the records and verify the request.

What happens next:

  • we acknowledge within 7 days;
  • we respond substantively within 30 days;
  • verified records are deleted from our working stores and excluded from all future releases; and
  • buyers who received the affected records are notified of the record identifiers and are contractually required to delete them from their copies within 30 days.

We may ask for additional verification where the request cannot be matched to records. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.

2. Rights holders — content removal (copyright / database rights)

If you own rights in content included in a dataset (for example, review text you wrote, or a catalog you maintain), email data@zalize.comwith the subject line "Content removal request" and include:

  • identification of the content and, where possible, its original URL;
  • the dataset or listing where you found it;
  • a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them;
  • your contact details.

We review removal requests within 10 business days. Content we determine to be covered is removed from future releases, and licensees holding raw-content editions are notified and required to delete the identified items under their license.

3. Website operators

If you operate a website that appears as a source in our datasets and want to discuss our collection from your site (rate, scope, or exclusion), contactdata@zalize.com with the subject line"Source site request". We respond within 10 business days.
